Thursday, November 11, 2010 – Opening for the Artists – Artwalk Night

Exhibition runs Sunday, November 7, 2010, through Saturday, January 8, 2011

Stray Cat Café (website) located at 500 S. Spring Street in Los Angeles, California (Google Map), 213-891-1144, presents “Purrrrrr” a show of fine art works created by local artists to help the The LoveKin Foundation to promote humane treatment of cats.

This exhibition will feature a multitude of multi-media cat-inspired works of art created by artists such as Simone Gad, Ted Meyer, Stuart Rappaport, Benito Compito aka OG, Leo Limon, Rude Calderon, Cindy POP De Santis, Alex Schaefer, Mike Schelly, Cornelius Cockroft, Sandy Bradley, Collette Miller, Wendy Given, and many more artists are joining the cause.

Curators, include Julie Rico, Gail Zone, and Nancy Love.

The LoveKin Foundation will be present to help you connect with a cat.

We will have photos and descriptions of cats available for adoption, information on spay-neuter programs, and we will be collecting donations for Operation Blankets of Love and our downtown rescue efforts.

Please bring spare blankets for animals in shelters and sanctuaries this winter and donate some cat food to our feral/stray program.
